Tripoli, November 16, 2022 (LANA) - The National Assembly held its second conference today, Wednesday, dedicated to presenting and discussing its initiative regarding the constitutional base and the amended electoral law, and to put forward ideas that would enable the commission to resume the electoral process.
During the opening of the two-day conference, the association's president, "Abdul Aziz Al-Raobi" gave a detailed explanation of the association's management activities, tasks and goals for which it was established.
The conference, whose sessions included several themes, during which the results of the electronic vote were presented, ideas were put forward that would enable the Commission to resume the electoral process, in addition to a dialogue meeting with the elites and the Commission.
The National Assembly, a civil organization, had announced earlier that it would deliver the outcomes of its conference on the constitutional rule and the amended election law to the High National Elections Commission on Thursday, in the presence of the UN envoy, accredited ambassadors and various media outlets.
