Al-Menfi receives the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court.

Tripoli 6 November 2022 (Lana)President of the Presidential Council Mohamed Al-Menfi received yesterday ,Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Karim Khan, which is his first official visit to Libya since 2012.
The communication office of the Council stated that the meeting discussed aspects of cooperation between the Libyan judiciary, the International Criminal Court and the Office of the Prosecutor in human rights issues.
According to the office Karim Khan, stressed that the situation in Libya represents his office’s priority and that deepening cooperation with national authorities and the follow up of accountability are one of the basic principles of the Criminal Court, and affirmation of respect for international law, to achieve justice.
