Libyan-Sudanese Economic Forum for Economic Integration and Trade Exchange launched.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, 31 October 2022 (Lana) The Head of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Al Dabaiba announced the opening of the closed land border crossing between Libya and Sudan and the resumption of movement of people and goods between the two countries.
Al Dabaiba, who was attending the launch of the Libyan-Sudanese Economic Forum in Tripoli on Monday, which is being held under the title "Free Zone for Transit Trade", stressed the need to take advantage of the geographical location and possibilities available in Libya and Sudan to stimulate transit trade in the Mediterranean and Africa, to achieve common benefits with neighboring countries.
The forum, which is organized by the Libyan-Sudanese Joint Economic Chamber, is attended by a number of businessmen and economic competencies in both countries.
