Establishing mechanism to open land border crossing Eisen with Algeria.

Ghat, 31 October, 2022 (Lana) - The Ghat Municipal Council held a meeting during which a mechanism and equipment were developed to open the land border crossing (Eisen) in cooperation with the Food and Drug Control Office, GATT and the relevant security authorities.

  The meeting, which was held at the land border port, Aisin in the municipality of Al-Birket, with the participation of the mayor of the municipality and the agencies working at the port, dealt with the arrangements for opening the port for travelers and commercial traffic.

The Food Control Office confirmed its readiness to play its role as soon as the border crossing was opened

The opening of this crossing comes within the efforts of the Land Ports Management and Operation Center at the Ministry of Transport, in cooperation with the Customs Authority, the Border Guards and Vital Objectives, the General Administration of Ports Security and the Land Ports Management and Operation Center.
