 Tripoli, 30 October, 2022 (Lana) - The President of the High Council of State, Khaled Al-Mashri, accompanied by the second deputy, Omar Bushah, received, Sunday, the French President's special envoy to Libya, Paul Soler, at the council's headquarters in Tripoli.

During the meeting, they discussed developments of the political situation in Libya, international efforts to resolve the political crisis, and ways to complete the constitutional process for holding elections.

The French envoy reiterated his country's government's support for the efforts of the High Council of State to hold elections on constitutional and legal bases.
