Sabratha incident is the focus of the Prime Minister's meeting with the Interior Ministry and the Chief of the General Staff.

 Tripoli, 13 October 2022 (Lana) The Head of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Al Dabaiba, met this afternoon with Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Mohamed Al-Haddad, and Acting Minister of Interior Badreddine Al Toumi, to follow up on the security and military situation, and the measures taken regarding the incident involving migrants that took place in the city of Sabratha.

According to the Prime Minister's Communication Office, the Acting Minister of Interior said two of the accused have been arrested, and subject to questioning while the rest of criminals were still on the run. During the meeting, they also followed up on the work of the Joint Security Chamber and its plans to identify smuggling locations on the west coast.
