Trade exchanges between Libya and Tunisia increased by (24.4%).

Tripoli, 29 September 2022 (Lana) Tunisia’s National Institute of Statistics reported that the level of trade between Libya and Tunisia has increased by 24.4% in the first 8 months of this year compared to 23.5% in the same period last year.

The institute explained that the value of exports amounted to about 40 million Tunisian dinars from sectors such as energy, phosphate and its derivatives, agricultural and food products, textiles, clothing, leather, mechanical and electrical industries.

 As for imports from Libya, the Tunisian Institute of Statistics revealed that they increased by 34% this year compared to 20.8% last year, thanks to the increase recorded in the sectors of energy materials, raw materials, semi-manufactured, consumables and processing materials.
