Ministry of Industry follows up work progress of National Mining Corporation.

Tripoli, 12 ٍSeptember, 2022 (Lana) - The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals for Public Affairs, Production Affairs and Industrial Zones, Mustafa Al-Sammo, discussed with the Director General of the National Mining Corporation, Faraj Al-Shandoli, the progress of the work of the National Mining Corporation and its important role in supporting the national economy.

The meeting, which included the directors of departments and sections of the Corporation, discussed problems facing the Corporation to play its role in preserving the mineral wealth, in addition to discussing the issue of collecting the Corporation's revenues.

During the meeting, emphasis was placed on the role of the National Mining Corporation in supporting the national economy and development plans aimed at diversifying sources of income and establishing many industries related to the building materials industry, such as the cement and brick industry and others. Develop plans and programmes necessary to implement laws and special decisions in the fields of mining, exploration, prospecting, extraction and supervision of mineral resources in a way that achieves the best returns for the public treasury.
