House of Representatives Communication Office: Sheikh Tamim reaffirms support for the choice of the Libyan people and realization of their aspirations.

    Tripoli, 11 September 2022 (Lana) The Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, discussed on Sunday with the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aqeela Saleh, aspects of development and strengthening cooperation between the two countries, as well as current developments in Libya, and a number of regional and international issues.

According to the Communication Office said the Emir State of Qatar reiterated, during the meeting, Qatar’s support for Libyan people choice to achieve their aspirations for development and prosperity for the unity and stability of Libya.

The audience was attended by Head of the Head of the Qatari Shura Council and members of the delegation accompanying the Speaker of the Libyan Parliament.
