Foreign Minister follows up work of Libyan Contributions to International and Regional Organizations Committee.

 Tripoli, 11 September, 2022 (Lana) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Najla Al-Manqoush participated, Sunday, in the meeting of the Follow-up Committee on the Payment of Libya’s due Contributions to regional and international organizations.

The committee discussed the results of the second meeting and its findings of listing the state due contributions to international and regional organizations, and identifying priority of disbursement.

During the meeting, Al-Manqoush demanded the necessity of facilitating the work and removing any obstacles facing the upcoming meetings.

The committee includes the Minister of State for Prime Minister and Cabinet Affairs Adel Jumaa, Adviser to the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya Mustafa Al-Manea, Director of the Administrative and Financial Affairs Department at the Ministry Rashid Abu Ghafa, Director of the Institutions Department at the Ministry of Finance Mustafa Kashada and Head of the Contributions Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Abbas Al-Mezoughi.

The committee was formed according to the decision of the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity No. 325 / 2022, to undertake the inventory and review of state contributions to international and regional organizations, and to determine priority of disbursement.
