The designated Minister of Health discusses with the Ambassador of Bangladesh to Libya the strengthening of joint cooperation between the two countries in the health sector.

Tripoli, August 29, 2022 (LANA) - The Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity - Minister of Health, Ramadan Abu Jinnah, discussed with the Ambassador of the State of Bangladesh to Libya Shamim Al-Zaman, the strengthening of joint cooperation between the two countries in the health sector.

During the meeting, the two parties discussed a number of important files, most notably benefiting from the expertise of the Bangladeshi medical personnel in operating hospitals and medical centers located in the regions and cities of the south, in addition to exchanging experiences between the medical centers in the two countries.

The Minister of Health welcomed this cooperation, praising the depth of relations between the two friendly countries and the continuous and permanent cooperation in various fields, including cooperation in the health field.

For his part, the ambassador expressed his country's readiness to cooperate in the field of pharmaceutical industries, through international manufacturing companies that are headquartered in Bangladesh due to labor licenses.

It was agreed to form a technical committee from the Ministry of Health to visit factories specialized in pharmaceutical industries in Bangladesh, and to hold meetings with health officials to discuss cooperation and exchange of experiences between the two countries.
