Commenting on Tripoli clashes Libyan Organization of Experts and Consultations calls for support for the electoral process, establishment of principles of democracy and the peaceful transition of power.

Tripoli, 28 August 2022 (Lana) The Libyan Organization of Experts and Consultations has expressed its deep concern over the unfortunate events that took place in and around the capital Tripoli due to armed clashes and the resulting loss of life and property.
In a statement, a copy of which was obtained by the Libyan News Agency, the organization called on all parties to exercise restraint, avoid escalation, to put the interests of the homeland first, and to make efforts to end the crisis by moving towards state-building by standing united to support the electoral process as soon as possible, and peaceful transition of power.
The Organization expressed its readiness through its elite experts from all over the country to contribute to supporting this process, in cooperation with the relevant state organs and institutions, in order to consolidate and chart the way out of all bottlenecks and move towards a promising future in which the Libyan people enjoy stability, progress and prosperity.
