Al Dabaiba and Al Kabir follow up on efforts on disclosure and transparency for government spending.

Tripoli, 23 August 2022 (Lana) The meeting held on Tuesday between the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Al Dabaiba, and the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Al-Siddiq Al-Kabir, focused on following up on the efforts of disclosure and transparency of government spending.
According to the Prime Minister's Communication Office, during this meeting, which was held at the Cabinet Office in the presence of Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs, Walid Al-Lafi, and the Advisor to the Governor of the Central Bank, Mustafa Al-Mana, Al-Kabeer reviewed the most important observations of the Central Bank according to the monthly report issued by it, through which it aims to disclose, transparentize and clarify all government expenses, and that the bank will work to follow up on spending, and work on the implementation of the necessary exchange permits, in the first, second and fourth sections in order to conduct administrative and government work and provide services to citizens.
Al Dabaiba stressed the need for increased disclosure and transparency in all expenses and commitment to the implementation of basic services for citizens, stressing the role of the Central Bank as the economic adviser to the state and contributing to the resolution of all problems facing the government to provide services to all citizens all over the country.
