Dutch ambassador to Libya and AL-Sayeh review level of readiness of HNEC.

 Tripoli, 14 August, 2022 (Lana) - The Head of the High National Elections Commission (HNEC), Imad Al-Sayeh, discussed with the Ambassador of the Netherlands to Libya Dolf Hookoning and his accompanying delegation, aspects of technical and advisory support provided through the (People) project, whose implementation is supervised by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).

During the meeting held at the office of the commission, Sunday, Al-Sayeh gave a presentation on the commission's future support plans, the challenges that could face the electoral process, and the level of its readiness to implement the expected electoral due process.

For his part, the Dutch ambassador reiterated his country's government support for the efforts to complete the expected electoral due process, praising the level of readiness of the commission and its keenness to hold the elections in accordance with the highest international standards.
