Egypt Air to run flights between Mi’tiga and Sharm El Sheikh Airports.

Cairo,7 August 2022 (Lana) Egypt Air holding company will begin operating a series of "special" flights between the international airports of Mi’tiga in the Libyan capital Tripoli and Sharm el-Sheikh from next Tuesday, the Egypt Air announced.
Pilot Amr Abu El Enein, Chairman of Egypt Air's holding company, said that the company's flights are scheduled to continue until October 11, to transport a number of tourist groups in the sisterly country of Libya to the city of Sharm el-Sheikh.
Abu El Enein explained that this comes within the framework of the strategy of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, aimed at activating air traffic and tourism coming to Egypt from various air transport markets regionally and globally, and to provide all facilities for those coming to tourist attractions airports within Egypt.
Abu El Enein added that it was agreed that flights between Mi’tiga and Sharm el-Sheikh airports will be operated at the rate of one flight per week, on company's Boeing B737-800 aircrafts, which can accommodate 154 passengers, which will contribute to propping up of Libyan tourist traffic to Egypt.
