NCDC announces (94) positive samples of COVID-19 and recovery of (140) cases throughout Libya in past 24 hours.

Tripoli, 7 August, 2022 (Lana) - The National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded (94) positive samples of the Corona virus and the recovery of (140) cases throughout Libya during the past 24 hours.

This came in the daily update of the local epidemiological situation of the emerging corona virus for Saturday, August 06, 2022 According to statement No. (708).

   The center received (373) samples, which were distributed to laboratories, and after testing the samples using Real Time PCR technology, the results were as follows:

- Number (279) negative samples.

- Number (94) positive samples.

The percentage of positive cases (25%).

- No critical cases.

The Health Communication and Media Committee of the National Center for Disease Control stated that the number of recovered cases totaled (140) cases.

General statistics... total number of infections, "the cumulative number," topped 505,705. The number of active cases: 1,587, and the recovered: 497,685

Total deaths since outbreak of COVID-19 were 6,433 cases.
