Presidential Council meets with Head of the government of national unity and stresses need to take care of the injured in Bent Baya, transfer of victims to specialized centers and hospitals.

 Tripoli, 1 August 2022 (Lana) President of the Presidential Council Mohammed Al-Mnefi and Members of the Council Musa Al-Koni and Abdullah Al-Lafi on Monday morning met with the Head of the Government of National Unity Abdul Hamid Al Dabaiba to discuss the latest developments of the political situation on the local and international levels.

 During the meeting, the Presidential Council offered condolences to the families of the victims, who died in the explosion of a fuel tank in the area of Bent Baya, wishing a speedy recovery for the wounded, directing the Prime Minister to take care of the wounded and transport them to specialized centers and hospitals.

According to his Communication Office, the Presidential Council, together with the Prime Minister, reviewed the actions taken by the Government in many sectors, particularly those regarding young people, women and retirees, and improvement of services for citizens in all cities. During the meeting, the President of the Presidential Council stressed the importance of continuing security work by increasing the activation of the work of the competent agencies and following them up in the performance of the role assigned to them.
