 Tripoli, 26 July 2022 (Lana) Government of National Unity Foreign Minister Najla Al-Mangoush received UK's Ambassador to Libya Caroline Hurendall and her delegation, which included Stephen Hickey, Director of the Middle East and North Africa Department, and Nick Gear, Director of International Security Department at the British Ministry of Defense.

 During the meeting held Tuesday at the ministry's headquarters in Tripoli the two sides discussed a number of issues of common interest, especially the political and economic file.

The British Ambassador welcomed the re-opening of the oil exports which, she said, will contribute to the acceleration of economic development in Libya, stressing in the same context the need to work on the legal basis for holding parliamentary and presidential elections as soon as possible.
