Tripoli, July 25, 2022 (LANA) - The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, "Abdul Hamid al-Dabaiba," received this morning at the Prime Minister's Office in Tripoli, the Italian ambassador to Libya, Giuseppe Buccino.

   The media office of the Prime Minister stated that the meeting was devoted to discussing the Libyan political file, and a number of joint economic files that are being activated, reiterating the two countries' desire for the urgent need to hold parliamentary and presidential elections as soon as possible.

    During this meeting, the Italian ambassador confirmed his country's welcome to the opening of oil and the resumption of gas pumping because of its domestic and international role, describing this step as positive.
