Tripoli, July 25, 2022 (LANA) - The General Electricity Company announced yesterday, Sunday, that "Mohammed Omar Hassan" has officially received his duties as Chairman of the Company's Board of Directors.

The company explained in a statement that the ceremony of handing over and receiving from the committee assigned by the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, took place at the company's headquarters in the Bawaba Aljibs area in the capital, Tripoli, in the presence of a number of board members.

The new chairman of the company's board of directors held his first meeting with the board of directors and in the presence of the general manager of the General Electricity Company "Mohammed bin Ismail".
