Al Mnefi meets delegation of the Municipality of the Sahel.

 Tripoli, 23 July 2022 (Lana) President of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Al Mnefi met Saturday in Tripoli with a delegation from the Municipality of the Sahel, which included Mayor Idriss Wanis, Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Al-Darsa Tribes Abdullah al-Kish, Chairman of the Committee of Elders of the Sahel Municipality Yusuf Burois, members of the Sahel Municipal Council and a number of leaders of the Al-Darsa tribe.

The meeting touched on the living, economic and social conditions in the municipality and the steps to be taken to support the healthcare, education and security sectors.

 According to the Presidential Communication Office, the Sahel municipal delegation confirmed support for the Presidential Council's continued in its drive to stabilize Libya through a national reconciliation project that paves the way for elections.

 For his part, the President of the Presidential Council urged the need to work to overcome the difficulties facing the work of the municipality in coordination with the Prime Minister and his cabinet members, pointing out that the municipality of the Sahel and all municipalities of Libya are part of the project of national reconciliation, which the Presidential Council seeks to achieve, to heal the rift and achieve peace and lasting stability.
