Al Haweij discusses with the Czech Ambassador obstacles facing Return of Czech companies to Libya.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, 21 July 2022 (Lana) Minister of Economy and Trade Mohamed Al-Haweij and Czech Republic Ambassador Jan Fitchtal on Wednesday discussed trade relations and obstacles facing return of the the Czech companies to work in Libya.
During the meeting, held at the Ministry's office in Tripoli, Al-Haweij urged Czech companies to take investment projects in all sectors, especially energy, gas and the healthcare.
Al-Haweij stressed the need to strengthen the role of chambers of commerce by establishing joint ventures between the private sectors of the two countries, according to the official page of the Ministry of Economy and Trade on Facebook.
The two sides also agreed to hold a joint meeting between Libyan and Czech businessmen with a view to exchanging experiences in the near future.
For his part, the Ambassador of the Czech Republic expressed the desire of Czech companies to take investment projects in Libya, and also issued an official invitation to the Minister of Economy "Mohammed Al-Haweij" to visit his country.
