Al-Aqouri: Libya accommodates everyone, and national reconciliation is the basis for getting out of the crisis in the country.

Tripoli, July 20, 2022 (LANA) - The Second Deputy of the Coordination and Follow-up Committee for the African Road Map Project for Libyan National Reconciliation, "Youssef Al-Aqoury" called on all parties to give priority to the higher interest and to forget the differences of the past to end the division and get the country out of its crises.

And the official spokesman for the House of Representatives, "Abdullah Blehaq," quoted "Al-Aqouri" as stressing the importance of giving the reconciliation file the utmost importance in order to reunite the Libyans after years of fighting, violence and division.

 He said that the importance of completing the reconciliation process has an impact on the political process and the stability of the country in general, as it is the basis for getting out of the current crisis.

Al-Aqouri added that Libya accommodates everyone and there is no room for exclusion of any party, and that reconciliation will take into account the principle of justice, reparation, recognition of the rights of victims, and the release of prisoners of conscience.

He also stressed that supporting reconciliation is the responsibility of all Libyans in order to turn the page of the past to build the state of Libya that everyone enjoys with its benefits under the banner of justice and equality, and blocking foreign interference, noting that reconciliation should be the responsibility of the Libyans alone without interference from anyone.
