Al-Hawij discusses with the Czech ambassador the obstacles facing the resumption of the work of the Czech companies in Libya.

Tripoli, July 20, 2022 (LANA) - The Minister of Economy and Trade, "Mohammed Al-Hawij", reviewed with the Ambassador of the Czech Republic, "Jan Vechtal", today, Wednesday, the commercial relations and the obstacles facing the resumption of the work of Czech companies in Libya.

Al-Hawij urged the Czech ambassador, during the meeting, which was held at the ministry's office in Tripoli, to encourage Czech companies to implement investment projects in all sectors, especially the energy, gas and health sectors.

The minister affirmed the keenness of the Ministry of Economy and Trade to provide the necessary facilities to companies and to provide them with a suitable work environment for the implementation of investment projects.

Al-Hawij stressed the need to enhance the role of the chambers of commerce by establishing joint projects between the private sectors of the two countries, according to what was published by the official page of the Ministry of Economy and Trade on Facebook.

 The two sides also agreed to hold a joint meeting between Libyan business owners with the aim of exchanging experiences during the coming period.

 For his part, the Ambassador of the Czech Republic expressed the desire of Czech companies to implement investment projects in Libya, and also extended an official invitation to the Minister of Economy, "Mohamed Al-Hawij" to visit his country.
