U.S. Ambassador calls for impartial investigation into disappearance of Sergiwa and accountability for those involved.

Tripoli, 20 July 2022 (Lana) U.S. Ambassador to Libya Richard Norland called for an impartial investigation and prosecution of those responsible for the disappearance of Member of House of Representatives Siham Serqiwa.
"No one should be silenced or forcibly disappeared for exercising freedom of expression and Sergiwa is no exception," Norland said in a tweet posted by the U.S. Embassy on its Twitter account.
The U.S. Ambassador expressed hope that "all Libyans will be free to exercise their civil and political rights without fear of reprisals," the tweet said.
