Zambia's Foreign Minister confirms his country's support for Libya to stabilize and organize elections.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, 18 July 2022 (Lana) The Undersecretary of State for International Cooperation and Organizations Omar Kiti met Sunday with Zambian Foreign Minister Stanley Kakobo, on the sidelines of the semi-annual meeting of the African Union and regional economic groupings in Lusaka.
The two sides discussed ways to protect joint investments, strengthen bilateral relations, and coordinate positions in continental and international forums and support candidates from both sides for international positions and functions.
The parties agreed to exchange official visits at the highest levels to complete and build on the talks, in the common interests of the two peoples.
The Zambian Foreign Minister stressed importance of developing bilateral and multilateral cooperation in line with the founding fathers' vision of African unity, as well as his country's support for the Libyan government and people in their efforts to stabilize the organization of the upcoming elections.
