Blihaq: an emergency session of the House of Representatives in the coming days to name the sovereign positions.

Tobruk, July 17, 2022 (LANA) - The head of the House Oversight Committee Follow-up Committee, "Zayed Hadiya", confirmed the House's intention in the coming days to hold an emergency session to name the sovereign positions, renewing the call to the State Council to refer the names for presentation in the scheduled parliament session at the time.

Spokesman Abdullah Blihaq quoted Hadiya as saying that the State Consultative Council did not respond to the House of Representatives in the consultations of sovereign positions, adding that the House of Representatives did what it had to do and was committed to all the agreements stipulated regarding sovereign positions and consultation with the State Council.

The head of the Monitoring Bodies Follow-up Committee said that the House of Representatives referred all candidates for sovereign positions to the State Council several times, but was surprised that the State Council did not respond or deal with us in these consultations.

According to what Blihaq said, Hadiya stressed that it is time now that we must urgently complete this important entitlement in a session of the House of Representatives.
