Tripoli, 15 July, 2022 (Lana) - Minister of Finance, Khaled Al-Mabrouk met with Chairman of National Oil Corporation, Farhat bin Qadara, Thursday, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Finance in Tripoli.

Al-Mabrouk congratulated the new Chairman of NOC on assuming his duties in managing the Corporation for this stage. The meeting also dealt with some topics of interest to the oil sector, including the decision of the Council of Ministers to adopt temporary financial arrangements for the Corporation, as well as follow-up to increasing the salaries of the Corporation's employees and the mechanisms for applying the relevant allowance established for the benefit of workers in the oil sector.

The procedures for liquidating financial assignments were followed up in accordance with the plan prepared for development and increasing production rates. The meeting concluded by agreeing to hold regular meetings between the Ministry and the Corporation to enhance the principle of transparency, disclosure of oil resources and justice in the distribution of revenues in the service of the country and the citizen.
