Al-Manfi meets a number of heads and representatives of political parties.

Tripoli, June 06, 2022 (LANA) - The President of the Presidential Council, "Mohamed Al-Manfi" met at the Council's Office today, Wednesday, a number of heads of political parties, representatives of (31) political parties, to discuss the political, economic, social and security situation in Libya.

The media office of the President of the Presidential Council stated that the representatives of the parties urged the Presidential Council to assume its responsibilities and tasks, and to fulfill its pledges to reach the presidential and parliamentary elections, in response to the calls of the people, rejecting negative international interference, and any international mechanism in the management of Libyan resources, stressing their full support for the Presidential Council.

In turn, Al-Manfi stressed the need to respect the will of the people, and implement their demands to hold parliamentary and presidential elections, reiterating support for citizens to exercise their right to demonstrate and peaceful organized protest, until their demands are implemented and their will is achieved by conducting electoral benefits, choosing their legislative and executive authority, and providing them with a decent life.
