Dabaiba, Al-Kabeer, Shakshak and Al-Shoubi discuss the disclosure and transparency reports issued by the Central Bank and the Ministry of Finance.

Tripoli, June 06, 2022 (LANA) - A meeting was held this afternoon, Wednesday, at the Central Bank of Libya, which included the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, "Abdul Hamid al-Dabaiba", the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, "Seddik al-Kabeer", the head of the Audit Bureau, "Khaled Shakshak" and the designated Minister of Finance, "Mohamed al-Shoubi", and the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs "Adel Jumaa", and for Communication and Political Affairs, "Walid Al-Lafi", the advisor to the governor, and the director of the General Department for Oversight of the Sovereign Sector at the Audit Bureau.

The media office of the Prime Minister stated that the meeting was devoted to discussing the disclosure and transparency reports issued by the Central Bank and the Ministry of Finance, where it was agreed on the need to increase the detail in the data, especially in those referred to financial services monitors in the regions, as well as discussing the measures taken by the government regarding the oil closure and its effects on the work of power stations, and the need to take deterrent steps towards it.

The meeting also discussed - according to the media office - the treatments file (both locally and abroad), and the steps to be activated in accordance with the meetings of the Prime Minister and the Audit Bureau in this file, and the necessity of providing medicines that contribute to supporting treatment locally.
