Tripoli, June 06, 2022 AD (WAL) - The President of the Presidential Council, "Mohamed Al-Manfi" met today, Wednesday, in Tripoli, members of the Tripoli Authority, to discuss a number of issues relating to local affairs, foremost of which is national reconciliation, and the political crisis the country is going through.

During the meeting, members of the Tripoli Authority stressed the importance of national reconciliation to maintain social peace, praising the efforts of the Presidential Council at this stage, and calling for the need to end the transitional stages by holding parliamentary and presidential elections as soon as possible.

For his part, Al-Manfi praised the efforts of the commission in unifying ranks and reunification, and supporting state institutions, foremost of which is the Presidential Council, pointing out that the Presidential Council continues to push all parties involved in the political process to agree, conduct electoral benefits, and meet the aspirations of the Libyan people.
