President of the Presidential Council receives the German ambassador to Libya.

Tripoli, July 04, 2022 (LANA) - The President of the Presidential Council, "Mohamed Al-Manfi" received today, Tuesday, the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Libya, "Michael Unmacht", to discuss developments in the political process in Libya.

During the meeting, the President of the Council praised Germany's efforts in its initiatives to bring together the Libyan parties, through the tracks of the Berlin conferences, stressing the Council's commitment to the stage's benefits to meet the aspirations of the Libyan people, to hold elections in accordance with a constitutional framework.

For his part, the German ambassador affirmed his country's continued support for the efforts of the Presidential Council, which aim to achieve stability, follow up on political and security developments in Libya, and support the Council's efforts to hold parliamentary and presidential elections.
