Tripoli, July 02, 2022 (LANA) - The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, "Al-Siddiq Al-Kabeer", met with the Governor of the Bank of England, "Andrew Bailey" to discuss aspects of cooperation and the developments of the bank's unification project.
The Central Bank stated in a publication on its official page that the meeting, which was held in the British capital, London, reviewed the bank’s plan to achieve the highest rates of disclosure and transparency, the developments of the project to unify the Central Bank of Libya, and ways and areas of cooperation between the two banks.
The Governor of the Bank of England commended the effective role played by the Central Bank of Libya and its governor in achieving financial sustainability in light of the circumstances Libya is going through.
