The National Democratic Building Bloc calls on the Presidential Council to shoulder its responsibility and initiate consultations to form a transitional government to organize the elections.

   Tripoli, 2 July 2022 (Lana) The National Bloc for Democratic Building has announced its support for the demands of the demonstrators across Libya from Tripoli to Tobruk, Benghazi, Misrata, Ajabiya demanding an urgent solution to the intractable crisis suffered by the Libyan people and to resolve what they call dilapidated Parliament houses that have failed to provide a solution to meet the aspirations of the Libyan people.

In a statement to the President of the Presidential Council Mohammed Al Mnefi, the speaker of the House of Representatives, Ageela Saleh, and the President of the High Council of State, Khaled al-Mashri, a copy of which was obtained by the Libyan news agency, the Bloc called for calm, restraint and saving of lives, public buildings and property.

The bloc called on the Presidential Council to shoulder responsibility and engage in consultations with representatives of the Libyan people including unions, and civil society institutions to form a transitional government to restore calm and ensure security for the country and organize elections as soon as possible.
