U.S. Ambassador Norland in his meeting with Al-Mangoush: We discussed ways to support stability and reconciliation in Libya and reopen the embassy in Tripoli.

  Tripoli, 29 June 2022 (Lana) GNU Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Najla Al Mangoush met on Wednesday in Tripoli the Ambassador of the United States and Envoy to Libya, Richard Norland.

 Norland said in a tweet through the account of the U.S. Embassy in Libya that he discussed with Al-Mangout ways in which the United States can support stability and reconciliation in Libya and reopen the U.S. embassy in Tripoli.

He explained that the meeting was an opportunity to hand over the Minister her award as this year's International Brave Women's Award winner, noting that Secretary of State Anthony Blinken presented the award for the first time in a virtual ceremony in March.
