The Ministry of Health in the unity government is looking at ways to support medical services and provide the needs of the municipality of Bani Walid.

Tripoli, June 27, 2022 (LANA) - The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Medical Centers Affairs, Tawfiq Al-Darsi, discussed with a number of health sector officials in the municipality of Bani Walid, ways to support medical services and provide the needs of the people in the municipality.

During a meeting held today, the two sides discussed a number of important files, most notably the support for reproductive health services in the municipality by allocating Al-Dahra Village Hospital as a specialized center for obstetrics and gynecology.

The meeting touched on the center's needs in terms of nurseries and equipment for operating rooms, health workers, as well as equipment for outpatient clinics and new departments.

Al-Darsi stressed the ministry's keenness to provide high-quality medical care for women and newborns within the municipality of Bani Walid, through its orientation to create a specialized center to provide this type of medical services.
