Al-Kony tells mayors of southern regions the South should have access to services, on equal bar with the rest of Libya.

Tripoli, 25 June 2022 (Lana) Vice President of Presidential Council Moussa Al-Kony stressed the need to intensify efforts and teamwork to overcome the difficulties that hinder the provision of services to citizens in various sectors in southern Libya.

In an audience he held in Tripoli on Saturday for Mayors and heads of local councils from the South, in the presence of Deputy Head of Government Ramadam Bujnah, Al-Kony stressed the need for all areas of the south to have access to services, on equal bar with the rest of Libya.

 Al-Kony urged mayors to work hard to ensure the security of the South, considering its strength lies in the unity of its components.

For their part, the mayors and local officials stressed the need to continue meetings, to double coordination and teamwork, which would provide the needs of the southern regions, in the way they deserve.
