Tripoli, 23 June, 2022 (Lana) - Stephanie Williams, the Special Adviser to the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Libya, revealed that the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aguila Saleh, and the Head of the High Council of State, Khaled Al-Mashri, accepted her invitation to meet at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva. 28-29 June with the aim of discussing the draft constitutional framework on elections.

 In a tweet Williams expressed her happiness at the acceptance of both the Speaker of Parliament, Aguila Saleh, and the President of the High Council of State, Khaled Al-Mashri, her invitation to meet at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva, saluting the Presidencies of the House of Representatives and the State on their commitment to achieving consensus on issues remaining after the meeting of the Joint Constitutional Track Committee last week in Cairo.
