 Cairo, 16 June 2022 (Lana) President of Presidential Council, Mohammed Al Mnefi met during a brief visit to the Egyptian capital Cairo last night with the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ageela Saleh.

"The meeting dealt with the political situation in the country and ways to get out of the current political stalemate by reaching elections as soon as possible, Presidential Council spokeswoman Najwa Wahaiba told the Libyan news agency.

The meeting also addressed the importance of the success of the work of the committees of the High Council of State and the House of Representatives in Cairo, as well as the results of the national reconciliation file as the presidential Council approaches the final details of the project.
