Al-Dabaiba following up work of electronic aviation authority.

Tripoli 16 June 2022(Lana) The Head of the Government of National Unity Abdul-Hamid Al-Dabaiba received General Director of the Electronic Aviation Authority Brigadier Al-Hadi Ibrahim and his assistant.

During the meeting ,they discussed the activity and preparedness of the authority to perform tasks assigned to it ,and to organize and supervise all operations of unmanned aircraft systems.

The GNU has issued decision No 452 to establish the body that would supervise all operations through which UAVs are used in areas of defense ,security ,photography ,survey ,surveillance ,patrols ,search and rescue ,air propaganda ,and other areas.

The decision stipulates in its forth article that all fixed and movable assets related to the electronic aviation including aircrafts ,shall be transferred to the authority ,and all relevant technical and administrative cadres shall be transferred from the Ministries of Interior and Defence to work for the authority.

Also the government issued a decision to appoint brigadier engineer Ali Ibrahim as a general Director for the Electronic aviation authority.
