Tripoli, June 14, 2022 (LANA) - The Representative of the Presidential Council, "Abdullah Al-Lafi," met this morning, Tuesday in Tripoli, with the Minister of Economy in the Government of National Unity, "Mohammed Al-Hawij" to follow up on the work of the ministry and its subsidiaries, and to learn about the problems facing the sector.

The Minister of Economy briefed the Vice Presidential on the mechanism of work of the ministry and its various components, and the measures that were taken during the last period in order to control prices, provide goods and protect citizens from speculation. The minister also provided a clarification on the file of developing economic projects in various cities and regions of the country.

During the meeting, Al-Lafi stressed the importance of strengthening efforts to improve the economic situation, calling for the speedy development of a strategy that contributes to the advancement of this important sector, and working to harness the full potential to serve the citizen and provide his needs at reasonable prices, and ease the burdens of daily life.
