Al-Menafi discusses with British Ambassador latest political developments in Libya.

During the meeting, they discussed the latest political developments in Libya, the challenges facing the elections, and ways to reach free and fair elections. Al-Menafi affirmed the Presidential Council keen interest in achieving parliamentary and presidential elections, calling on the parliament and the High Council of State to give priority to the nation's interest and to stay away from any political conflicts.
In turn, the British ambassador renewed her country's government's support for the file of national reconciliation and the holding of comprehensive national elections on a constitutional basis.
