Ministers discuss issues related to movement across Ras Ajdir border crossing .

 Ras Ajdir, 14 June, 2022 (Lana) A high-level meeting was held at the Ras Ajdir port, Tuesday, that included ministers of the interior, Khaled Mazen and transportation, Muhammad Salem al-Shoubi, and the local government Badr Eddin Toumi with a number of officials in the Tunisian government, during which topics related to the movement of the crossing were discussed and problems facing movement between the two countries.

 The meeting also discussed border bottlenecks at the Ras Ajdir port and solutions for them, in addition to a number of issues of concern to the two brotherly countries.

The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transportation for Land Transport, the mayor of Zuwara Municipality, the Head of the Internal Security Agency and the General Intelligence Service, the Head of the Passports and Nationality Authority, the Head of the Administrative Centers Development Authority, the Head of the Land Ports Management and Operation Center, a representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Head of Customs Authority, Head of the Ambulance Service, Director General of the Transportation Projects Implementation Agency, Assistant Director General of the Administrative Centers Development and Development Authority, and a number of Tunisian officials.
