Al-Lafi discusses with French President's Special Envoy cooperation prospects.

Tripoli, 9 June 2022 (Lana) Deputy to the President of Presidential Council Abdullah Al-Lafi on Thursday received Paul Soler, special envoy of French President Emmanuel Macron with whom he discussed prospects of bilateral cooperation in various areas.
During the meeting, which was attended by the French Ambassador to Libya Beatrice Du Hellene the two sides discussed the latest developments in the political process in Libya, and ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in various areas.
Al Lafi highlighted the historical relations between the two friendly countries and France's role in supporting a peaceful solution and dialogue between the parties to the political process.
The French envoy reiterated his country's support for dialogue to achieve national stability and reconciliation, and to maintain the momentum of the elections and conduct them in accordance with a constitutional framework that ensures their success.
