High National Election Commission's Council discusses with French special envoy prospects for cooperation and Commission’s readiness to hold electoral process.

Tripoli, 9 June 2022 (Lana) The Chairman of the Board of the High National Election Commission Emad Al-Sayeh on Thursday received the French special envoy to Libya Paul Soler, in the presence of the members of the Commission Council Abdul Hakim Al-Shaab and Abu Bakr Marda, at the headquarters of the Commission in Tripoli.
The meeting, which was attended by the French Ambassador to Libya, discussed the Commission's preparations for the planned electoral process, in light of local and international developments, and France's support for the electoral process.
Soler stressed his country's keenness to support holding the elections in the coming period, while praising the commission's level of readiness and the efforts it has made in the stages of the electoral process that have been completed.
