The General Electricity Company demands that public authorities and institutions turn off lighting after end of official working hours.

Tripoli, 5 June 2022 (Lana) The General Electricity Company considered turning on of lighting 24 hours a day, especially in offices, as a waste of electricity.
The company published through its official website pictures of some public buildings that are lit during the night period, reflecting a failure to rationalize electricity consumption by switching off lights at those buildings.
The General Electricity Company appealed to all public and private bodies to turn off the lighting after the end of the official working hours, to contribute to the rationalization of the consumption of electricity.
