U.S. Ambassador to Libya: We will continue to help Libya develop its border security capabilities.

Tripoli, 1 June 2022 (Lana) Maintaining and controlling national borders against smugglers, traffickers and potential terrorists is a vital function of any country, U.S. Ambassador to Libya Richard Norland said.
This came during a meeting the Ambassador had with (20) Libyan officers from customs, passports and counter-terrorism departments who participated in a training workshop on combating smuggling, which was hosted in Tunis as part of the export control and border security program at the embassy, according to the U.S. Embassy on its official SMS page.
The U.S. Ambassador said the United States is pleased to help Libya develop its border security capabilities.
