Head of Passports Authority chairs a security meeting .

Tripoli, 01 June, 2022 (Lana) - Head of Passports, Nationality and Foreign Affairs Authority, Major General Youssef Abdullah Murad, chaired an expanded meeting regarding the opening of the Ghadames border crossing with Algeria, in the presence of officials of the regulatory and security components working in the port and the mayor of Ghadames Municipality. During the meeting - which was held at the headquarters of the Department of Public Relations and Cooperation - the needs necessary to activate the Ghadames border crossing with the State of Algeria and the problems facing the security services operating at the port and finding solutions to end them were discussed.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the committee decided to continue its work to develop the necessary and appropriate solutions, emphasizing its readiness to work after providing all the capabilities needed by the port to reopen it.
