The Ministry of the Interior is considering arrangements for the reopening of the Japanese Embassy in Tripoli.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, May 30, 2022 (LANA) - The Director of the General Administration for the Protection of Diplomatic Missions, Major General Wissam bin Jameh, met today, Monday, with "Masaki Amadera" Chargé d'Affairs, Japan's Special Coordinator for Libya, First Secretary at the Japanese Embassy in Tripoli, "Amaneh Kobashi", in the presence of Director of the Department of Relations and Cooperation, Dean Salah El-Din Bin Suleiman.
During the meeting, mechanisms and security arrangements were discussed for reopening the headquarters of the Japanese embassy in Tripoli, according to what the media office of the Ministry of Interior of the Government of National Unity said.
The meeting touched on ways to provide protection and guarding by the General Administration for the Protection of Diplomatic Missions at the headquarters of the Japanese Embassy.
The meeting also touched on several security issues of common interest between Libya and Japan.
