Tunis, 22 May 2022 (Lana) The Libyan navy is taking part in a military exercise in Tunisia, along with the armies of 13 countries from North Africa, South Europe and America.
"Tunisia will host the 17th edition of the Phoenix Express 2022 multilateral naval exercise from May 21st to June 04th, the Tunisian Ministry of Defence said.
Thirteen countries from North Africa, Europe and the United States of America, represented by naval and air units, navy vanguard teams, components and observers, from Libya, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Mauritania, America, Britain, Egypt, Italy, Spain and America, among others, are participating in the exercise.
Several international organizations, such as the United Nations Office for Drug and Crime Control and the European Fishing Control Agency, are also involved.
